Guess who's back?? That's right, after an almost two year hiatus (it's really been that long??), luigimario.com has been revived! Alot has been going on during my life in the past year and a half (never ended up getting married, thank God) that I didn't really have the time to even come back to update. But have no fear! When I first created this site, I strived to make sure it was different and unique from all of the other Mario sites out there. The Luigi Awareness Society hasn't been updated since 2003 (which is a shame because that girl really knew her stuff), the SMBHQ...well we know about their update history, and many other Mario sites have either stopped production, or just rarely ever update anymore. I didn't/don't want that with this site. This site is Luigi themed, sure, but I made sure to go even further than that and talk about other old school games that we all remember and loved (and didn't love). So in the coming days, I will start to update again. I've kept in contact with MattDDR and I'm sure he's been waiting for this day (as have I) to try to make this the leading Luigi site. Also considering doing some N64 games, what do y'all think? Well, expect a ton of new stuff (might start off by updating the products section), and thank you for being patient on my return. Wow...what a gap there! Alot of things have been going on through my personal life right now (getting engaged, job hunting, moving to a different place) so the reviews have been kinda scarce (okay...they have been scarce) due to that. No, MattDDR and I have not forgotten or decided to neglect the site, but we're both just going through our own personal things for right now. Once I get settled, then you better believe that there will be more very in depth reviews like always. Until then, enjoy my Combatribes review that I've just put up! I'm sure you'll like it!

Well,  I'm back from my vacation! How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Good I hope! Well, to start off of what's new...I added a FAQ page to the site now so that way I won't always be  e-mailed the same questions, heh. Also, MattDDR will have a reviiew up of Donkey Kong Country up soon! So stay tuned!

Very small update here. I've updated the MP3 section again ..only this time adding the very intense Double Draggon II Arranged OST. It's basically the NES version's music but remixed (and much better IMO). So be sure to check it out! We'll do some more reviews very very soon!

Wow! We've been around for a little over a month now! And I've got to say, it's been a real fun journey thus far! Well...on to the updates! I've put up a new review for Super Dodge Ball for the Neo Geo! So go check it out to see what I truly think about the game! Also, I've added a new track from the Double Dragon Neo Geo OST. It's Dalton's theme by the way. I didn't really care about his theme song in the actual game, but this remixed one is just fantastic!

Update: MattDDR has given his knowledgable opinion on the old school classic game Batman for the NES! So look at what he's got to say! I've also taken down the Double Dragon Neo Geo OST because those tracks are just WAY too big! But I'm sure I'll put them back up again down the line.

Well, a new review by me is up! It's for Rage of the Dragons for the Neo Geo! I've been wanting to do this review for a long time but never got around to it. Also, I sadly took down the RotD OST and replaced it with a couple of great tracks from the classic Tekken  Strike Arranges soundtrack (hey, everyone should know/remember that Tekken 2 had a outstanding soundtrack!). So be sure to give those a look!

Well I'm glad to say that the site now has a new banner! Pretty cool huh? Also, I've added a products section to the site of various merchandise of video games that you've probably seen while growing up. Well, it's not really complete yet, but it's kind of hard to find very old things on the internet, lol.

Update: I ended up taking down the Orchestral Game Concert's version of the Super Mario Brothers Medley and replaced it with the Double Dragon Neo Geo OST. Only one track is up so far (and it's my personal favorite). But I'm thinking about putting more tracks from the same cd up (those tracks use up alot of MB space).

Whew! I did it! I did my review of Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 for the GBA! I've also taken down the Smashing...Live! soundtrack and replaced it with the amazing Orchestral Game Concert album! Check out the amazing track I put up from it!

Great news for the site! I've just purchased it so therefore alot more things will be added on! So to those that thought this site wouldn't make it...I say this to you..."HA!". Also, MattDDR will be putting up a review for The Lion King for the Genesis! I'll let you know whn he does!

How's eveybody's day going? Good I hope! It should be even more better because MattDDR has put up an excellent review of the classic game Super Mario RPG: The Legend Of The Seven Stars! So check that out! I also ended up taking down a couple of screenshots for Super Puzzle Fighter. I also took down the Astroid Belt track from the Star Fox Assault OST. The only reason for these changes is to just simply leave more room for MB...but that should change within a week! Also, JSUITS should be putting up a review up later on for Mortal Kombat 1 for the SNES! So i'll let everyone know once he does that!

Update: JSUITS has inally put up his great review of Mortal Kombat 1 fot the SNES! So check it out! I've also added a new song to the Star Fox Assault Orchestra OST. It's a great song so be sure to check that out too!

Another day and another review! MattDDR has another great review (but for a crappy game) up, but this time for the god-awful Double Dragon "V": The Shadow Falls. BTW...his reviews will be in grey while mine will be in green. So check the review out and let us know what you think! I've also changed the mp3 playlist somewhat. I took out the Mario Kart 64 OST and replaced with the fantastic Super Smash Bros Melee live in concert soundtrack, Smashing...Live! Though the two songs there are not my personal favorites, they're good nevertheless! I'll add on more from that soundtrack as times goes by. Also, if you have any old-school games would like for any of us to review, then let us know! We'll be more than happy to do it! Enjoy!

Great news! A new staff member (and good friend of mine), MattDDR, has added a great review of the classic game Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time for the SNES! So show the guy some love and e-mail him your thoughts of the review at trancedancerx@sbcglobal.net! Let's see..what else. Oh, I ended up taking down the guestbook due to the comments page getting more attention and thought it would kind of be a waste if I had both . Also, I've come to the conclusion that the mp3 section would be alot better if I just updated it weekly meaning that everyweek new songs will be up from different soundtracks! Pretty cool huh? I'm also trying to find a way to do internal links so that way I can have all of the reviews in one section rather than having them spread out on the site. So far so good! After working pretty much all night making new screenshots and stuff, I finally have my review up of Double Dragon for the Neo-Geo! Welcome to my new video game site! My name is Brent P aka Legend and those that have heard of me should know I used to work for that POS of a site Super Mario Bros Headquaters as the main graphics guy (they still use my pics there btw) before I was abruptly fired for no given reason! Oh well, that was the past and this is now...and now I have more freedom, lol. The premise of this site is basically a review site for older games that most people seem to have forgotten about. So my job here is to remind people that there are older and better gems out there other than your Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (a game in which I will even admitt I'm not very good in). I'm also looking for staff or contributing writters for the site too so if you're interested let me know! My e-mail is brent_purvis2000@yahoo.com! I'm really hoping to expand the site as time goes on...and even hope to comepete with the big name sites out there too (hey anything's possible)!
